My hype for the bbq here was too high since I haven't had good bbq recently I was hoping this was my new fav place. The bbq and sauce were good but a little on the dry side. Possibly because it was late in the evening when I ordered.
They have a live band which made it seem like a great spot to come hang out at. The atmosphere and the set up gets 5 stars. The staff were warm and inviting. Being open late it's a perfect little spot and I would love to come check out the menu again. -

My husband and I went in for dinner one night this month. As we walked to the back, we passed by two confederate flag symbols proudly displayed on wall. We turned around to leave and told the bartender and waitress it was due to the confederate flags displayed. There was no response from either of them.
The mountain communities up here are, unfortunately, filled with several racist characters. This is the first time I've seen it in a business up here. Disgraceful. -

Went there a few weeks ago. It was our second time after visiting a couple months prior and really enjoyed their ribs. This time the experience was not so good. They were understaffed and our waitress was running around trying to do her best. The food was ok, but not great like it was the last time. It went bad when we got a bowl of soup. As we got to the bottom of the soup, we found a dead fly in it. We were disgusted knowing we had eaten the majority of the soup with a dead fly in it. We lost our appetite and stopped eating everything. We showed the waitress who took it back to the kitchen. She took the soup off the bill but that was it. I think we would have comped the entire meal, but that's just us. The whole place is run down and needs a serious cleaning and some updating. We live in the area and won't be back.

Would give this place 0 stars if I could. The food was super good! The waitress on the other hand from the get go was so rude. We barely ordered any food and when we would request anything small such as a side of sauce or another drink she would flip out on US. it felt like I had to have a confrontation with the waitress every time I needed something. She even screamed at our table from far away by the kitchen. Was super ridiculous.

I should have run when I saw the "B" and had the chance. If there was an option for zero stars I would have given it. I still give people the benefit of the doubt because sometimes it can be something minor that will give them that grading B by the health inspectors.
The windows are all tinted but the inside is pretty cool, watch your step going in because there is an additional step; don't wanna bust your face wide open in front of a bar of people. There is a full bar, a pool table, jukebox on the wall, wooden tables, chairs, and stools. There is plenty of seating areas and the bartender told us about a back patio. We were like oh the back patio will be nice. She pointed in the direction of the kitchen so I asked, "we walk through the kitchen?!" And she replied "yes, it's fine go ahead." So as we walked past the one cook and his stove, I was smacked in the face with smoke. The back patio is also the smoking area for customers. Great. We picked a wooden table with ununiformed chairs.
The bartender gave us one menu to share among the three later became four of us. We quickly learned the bartender was also the waitress for the restaurant. When it was time to order it seemed like they were out of everything; they didn't have onion rings, ranch or curly fries. I reviewed the menu and nothing really stood out to me so I went with the hot wings and a water with lemon. The hot wings were $9.95, my colleagues "Stockade Burger" $10.95 and the other ordered potato skins.
The bartender/hostess/waitress returned with our beverages and OMG in my water was my requested lemon slice with the sticker still attached. How could she have not seen this?! Seriously?!! The food arrives after about a 12 min after that and the wings don't look half bad aside from them swimming in sauce. The bun of the burger looked rock hard and she didn't get the cheese on it like she ordered. After taking one bite she recognized what appeared to be an eyelash hair on the side of her plate. Then for the finale, the sour cream skins come out. The potatoes are overcooked and it was drowning in more than half of the sour cream container. For refills we had to take our cups to the bar because she was running all over the place. When it came time to close out the checks we had to do the same.
Next time if there will be a next time, I'm bringing my own food from LA.
